When AIESEC was initiated they thought of exchange because they found that nations participate in wars because they lack respect or an understanding of each others culture. Our exchange programmes enable young people to interact with and understand different cultures and by so doing we achieve peace and fulfillment of humankind's potential.

The AIESEC way

AIESEC is a global, non-political, independent, not-for-profit organization run by students and recent graduates of institutions of higher education. Its members are interested in world issues, leadership and management. AIESEC does not discriminate on the basis of race, colour, gender, sexual orientation, creed, religion, national, ethnic or social origin.

How we do it

AIESEC provides its members with integrated development experience comprised of leadership opportunities, international internships and a participation in a global learning environment. We believe the main positive impact we make to society comes as a result of the leadership characteristics our members develop through the AIESEC Experience.
